"P2P Transaction Nightmare: Losing Anon in a Web3 World?"

I sent a friend some ETH to test out a new dApp, but our chat got interrupted and now the transaction is stuck 'in transit'. Has anyone else lost their anon in a web3 world and had to deal with this kinda headache?"
