What's up guys, I think it's high time we revisit the decentralized app (dApp) revolution. With the likes of Google and Amazon dominating the scene, I believe decentralized powerhouses like LBRY, Filecoin, and InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) are the key to freedom from corporate control. Can anyone share some insight on how these apps can disrupt the status quo?

"Dude, I think decentralized apps are the real MVPs. They're not just about sticking it to Google and Amazon, but also about having control over our own data and experiences. PeerTube and Mastodon are just a few examples of P2P platforms that are already making waves."

Honestly, I think decentralized apps are the future, especially when it comes to data sovereignty. Companies like Google and Amazon are just hoarding our info and using it for their own gain - a decentralized model is a major step in the right direction. Anyone else experimenting with alternatives like Mastodon or Diaspora?
