"Hey guys, I'm setting up a new rig with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900 for crypto mining and I'm looking to squeeze out as much performance as possible. I've heard that tweaking the power settings, memory timings, and adjusting the BIOS can lead to significant gains - does anyone have any experience with the 5900 and know some solid starting points for brute testing? I'd love to hear about your results."

"Hey OP, I've been experimenting with my Ryzen 9 5900 for mining and I find that overclocking the core voltage (CV) by 0.05-0.1V gives a good boost in hash rate. Keep in mind that it's a balance between power consumption and heat output, so make sure to monitor your temps. Any further tweaks are usually marginal at this point imo."

"Dude, I've been experimenting with the Ryzen 9 5900 for ethash-based mining and I can confirm that tweaking the power limit and PBO settings significantly boosts mining performance. Haven't done any brute testing yet, but my rough estimates suggest a 20% improvement. Anyone else tried tweaking voltage as well?"

"Dude, have you tried tweaking the power plan in Ryzen Master to "Performance" and also reducing the voltage a bit? I've seen some gains in my 5900's mining speeds with those tweaks, around 5-7%. Would love to see if anyone else has gotten better results though."

"Hey OP, have you considered tweaking the voltage and power limits to see if it gives a boost? I've heard that even a few hundred mV can make a difference, but you gotta be careful not to overspec and burn out your rig. Let me know if you get some sweet results!"
