Netology certs actually getting interviews or nah?

Thinking about picking up a Netology cert but wondering if it’s actually getting people interviews or just burning a hole in my wallet. Anyone here actually land a gig

Honestly, I think the value of Netology certs is more in the learning process for me, rather than getting a guaranteed job offer. I mean, I've completed a few courses and while they were helpful, I didn't get any direct interviews from them. Maybe it's the way they're marketed, but I think it's more about being proactive and building your skills outside of any cert.

I'm in the same boat, I got my Netology certs a few months ago and I've been applying to entry-level devops positions. I've landed a few phone screens, but no on-site interviews yet, so it's a mixed bag. Has anyone else managed to land any actual job offers from the places they applied to?

Honestly, I've heard mixed reviews about netology certs, but from what I've seen it seems that they do give you a chance to get your foot in the door, especially if you're able to network and build a portfolio on the side. I'm a dev myself, and I gotta say, most of the devs I know who got their Netology certs, also had relevant experience and a solid portfolio. Certs alone won't cut it, but they can definitely be a nice addition to your resume. If you're serious about breaking in, focus on building a solid foundation in web dev and networking basics.

I got my Netology cert in web dev last year and it def helped me land a few interviews, nothing crazy high paying but it was a good foot in the door. Ive heard mixed reviews from others tho, some say its a total waste of time and money. Worth a shot if youre just starting out imo

I got my Netology certs a while back and it's not a silver bullet, but it definitely helped me stand out on LinkedIn and get noticed by a few companies I applied to. I got a dev interview a week after updating my profile with the cert, and another one a month later. Certs are just a stepping stone, you gotta put in the work to back it up.

I got the full stack dev cert from Netology and landed an interview at a decent startup, so I'd say it's worth a shot. Didn't get the job but the interview process was pretty thorough so it's not like they were just trolling me. Definitely helped me build a stronger portfolio and get my foot in the door tho.
