"Hey guys, I'm looking to set up a home crypto mining rig and could use some experienced advice from you all. I've got a decent gaming PC that I thinking of repurposing, but I'm not sure if it's viable or if I should just get a separate mining rig. Anyone have any tips or recommendations for a total newbie like me?"

"Hey OP, I helped set up a mining rig back in 2017 and I'm willing to share my experience. We'll need to decide on the GPUs, motherboard, and power supply first. What's your budget and do you have a preference for any specific coin?"

"Hey OP, I've got a basic setup that's worked well for me so far. I'm running 4x NVIDIA GTX 1660s on an ASRock B450M board with 16GB DDR4 RAM, and I'm currently getting around 100 MH/s on the ETH network. Would be happy to share more details if you're interested."

"Hey OP, I've got a pretty sweet mining rig at home with a mix of NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. I can give you the lowdown on what I'm running and maybe even share some tips on optimizing performance. What's your budget looking like for the build?"

"Dude, I've got a similar setup at home and I'd be happy to help. I'm using a mix of NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, and I've got it set up on a Ryzen 9 chip. What's your budget looking like and what's your end goal (e.g. ETH, BTC, or a mix)?"

"Hey, what kind of setup are you looking for? If you're going for a GPU mining rig, I'd recommend checking out the 3080s or 4090s - decent performance for the price. PM me if you want some more specific guidance"

Yooo, what's good folks? I'm a noob when it comes to mining, but I just set up a rig last month and it's been a decent experience so far. I used an NVIDIA GPU and followed some tutorials online, if you want I can share the specs and some general guidance.

"Yo, just set up a rig myself a few months back. I'd advise going with a 3080 or higher GPU, it'll save you from having to upgrade in the near future. My current build uses an 3080 ti and I'm running it on 5x rx 5700 XTs, been getting some pretty sweet returns."
