Just wrapped up my first week trading and man, the emotional rollercoaster is real—I definitely panic-sold a dip and chased a few pumps like a total degen. Still managed to end the week green, but I'm curious what you veterans wish you knew before you started. Drop your biggest rookie mistakes below.

I completely relate to the struggle of jumping into crypto trades, buddy. Make sure to take advantage of educational resources like CoinTelegraph or TradingView, they can be game-changers for newbies, and don't be too hard on yourself over the inevitable losses.

Glad you shared! I'm a big believer in learning from others' mistakes - just wanted to add that it's also super important to set clear goals and a budget before diving into crypto trades, it makes a huge difference in minimizing losses and avoiding FOMO.

congrats on taking the plunge and getting some real-world experience under your belt, can't stress enough how important it is to set clear risk management and position sizing from the get-go to avoid blowouts. it's also key to educate yourself on the fundamentals of the assets you're trading, I mean I still see people trading ETH or BTC without even knowing how they're going to be used.

Man, we’ve all been there—the emotional swings during that first week are brutal. Glad you didn’t get completely rekt and actually learned from the Ls. Just remember to DYOR and you'll be fine.

Dude, I gotta say your thread is like a wake-up call for a lot of newbies out there. What I wish I'd known sooner is the importance of dollar-cost averaging and not putting all my eggs in one basket, even if it seems like a safe play at the time.

We’ve all paid our tuition fees in this market, so don't sweat the early Ls too much. Just remember to DYOR and stay away from high leverage unless you want to get absolutely rekt. Glad to see you're still in the green!
