Title: Miranda IM is Dead - Long Live Miranda IM (on Linux)???

I just found out that Miranda IM, a popular chat software, is no longer actively maintained. Their website is even pointing to Pidgin as an alternative. But what about the Linux community that's been using Miranda IM for years?
