"Yooo, haven't played DayZ in ages but just got a hankering to dive back in. One thing I always find useful is making a hideout with a secure base and then doing patrols at night to scavenge for gear. Anyone have any solid tips for avoiding those pesky bears?"
"Went solo for my last play session and had a blast. Key takeaway: find a decent location ASAP and fortify it - those bandits are relentless. Also, don't bother with a group unless they're experienced; you'll just get picked off."

"Just wanted to chime in, been playing solo for a while and my go-to strategy is to scav for supplies in the early game before getting into a group. Never underestimate the power of a good loot spot, and always keep an eye out for other players, even if you're solo."
