"Hey guys, just got back from a visit to a local mining shop and I'm shocked by the prices they're asking for new ASIC miners. 50% increase in 6 months is insane, and I'm worried that it's gonna make mining less profitable than ever. Thoughts on how this price hike will affect the market?"

"Haha, ASIC price hikes are a thing of the past now. Prices have come down significantly since the mining boom dried up. I'm personally not too bothered, though - I've shifted my portfolio to GPU mining and it's been treating me relatively well."
