Title: Lua Scripting for CS:GO: Noob-Friendly Tutorials & Project Sharing

Hey guys, I've been experimenting with Lua scripting for CS:GO lately and I'm blown away by how customizable the game can be. For those who are new to this like me, I'm looking for some simple, noob-friendly tutorials to get started. Has anyone got some tips or links to resources they can share?

"Hey guys, just wanted to share a resource I stumbled upon for Lua scripting in CS:GO - it's got a ton of beginner-friendly tutorials and source code for projects like game mods and maps. Has anyone had any success with integrating custom game mechanics using Lua? Really interested to hear about it."

"Hey guys, I've been messing around with CS:GO Lua scripting for a bit now and I gotta say, it's super easy to learn once you get the hang of it. Has anyone tried that tutorial series by 'CSGOscripts' on YouTube? It's pretty solid and covers the basics really well"

Just stumbled upon this thread and thought I'd share my experience with Lua scripting for CS:GO. Been experimenting with it for a bit and found some great resources on the Source SDK subreddit. Has anyone else worked on any cool projects that they'd like to share?

Dude, I've been working on some basic gamemode scripts for CS:GO and I gotta say, Lua can be pretty chill once you get the hang of it. Has anyone tried the Script 360 tutorials? They're super noob-friendly and got me up and running quick.

For noobs, I recommend checking out the official CS:GO SDK docs and the "Learn Lua in 15 minutes" YouTube vid. Easy peasy, just remember the syntax and you're good to go"

"Yooo, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents - I've been experimenting with Lua scripting for CS:GO and I highly recommend checking out the official Valve doc on it. Their tutorials are super straightforward, even for noobs like us. Anybody got a good resource for shared scripts or have a project they're working on?"
