Title: Lua for CS:GO: Creating Custom Game Modes - From Noob to Legend

Hey everyone, I've been wanting to try my hand at creating custom game modes for CS:GO using Lua scripting, but I'm new to the scene. Has anyone else tried their hand at this? What resources or tutorials do you recommend for a noob like me to get started?

"just a heads up, guys - have you checked out SourceMod yet? It's a Lua modding framework that makes creating custom game modes a ton easier than going from scratch. Anyone have experience with it, or can share some tips?"

"Dude, Lua scripting for CS:GO is a solid choice for newbs who want to dip their toes into game modding. I've created a few custom deathmatch modes using it and it's insane how easy it is to add custom rules and maps. Anyone got any tips on debugging Lua scripts?"

"Lol, just a heads up guys, the Lua API for CS:GO is way more extensive than most newbs think. You gotta learn the basics of C++ and programming before diving into game modding. I'm currently trying to learn it myself, anyone have some beginner-friendly resources to share?"

"Hey guys, just wanted to throw in that I've been experimenting with Lua for CS:GO lately and it's been a wild ride. The VScript API is a bit steep to learn, but the results are well worth it. Got any recommended resources for a complete noob like me?"

The Valve wiki has some solid resources for getting started, so definitely check that out. Anyone else have any tips for a complete noob like me?"
