"Hey guys, been noticing prices of high-end GPUs plummeting with the crypto market crash, making me wonder - are low-budget options still viable for mining in 2024? I've been eyeing the older 4xxx series AMD GPUs, and some folks swear by the NVIDIA RTX 3050. Has anyone got experience with these or similar cards for mining?"

I think the RX 5500 XT is still a decent low-budget option for crypto mining, even in 2024. It can give you around 30-40 MH/s for ETH mining, which ain't bad for its price. I've been running a few of these rigs with decent performance.

"Yo, I'm still running some older Nvidia GTX 1060s in my rig and they're still pulling in some decent Hashrates for Ethereum. I know they're not the most efficient, but they're basically free considering their price nowadays and still get the job done. Anyone else still rocking ancient GPUs?"

"Hey guys, to be honest, I think it's still worth it for low-budget GPU mining but only if you can get a decent deal on a used or refurbished miner. I managed to grab a used Nvidia GTX 1660 Super for $150 and it's been paying for itself so far. Just gotta be patient and do your research"

"Depends on the crypto you're mining and the current market conditions, but I've seen some decent returns with the Nvidia GTX 1660 Super or AMD RX 5600 XT. Prices have dropped a lot since last year, so they're worth a shot if you're just starting out or looking to upgrade. Just make sure to monitor the energy costs and hash rates too."
