Title: Lost My Crypto to a Phishing Site - Can I Recover My Funds?

"hey guys, just lost a decent chunk of crypto to a phishing site and I'm freaking out. I entered my seed phrase on a fake exchange, didn't realize it was legit until it was too late. Has anyone else been in my shoes? If so, did you manage to recover your funds?"

"Ah man, sorry to hear that. If you haven't already, please file a report with the relevant authorities and the exchange/platform you were using. Unfortunately, recovering stolen crypto is usually a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try."

Sorry to hear that, OP. The thing is, most phishing sites use burner wallets or addresses that are only good for one transaction, so recovering funds is usually a lost cause. However, it doesn't hurt to try and report the scam to your exchange or wallet provider to help others avoid the same fate.
