"Hey guys, just had the worst iPhone X update experience. iOS 16 bricked my Face ID after the upgrade - now it doesn't recognize my face at all. Can anyone share any fixes or workarounds to get it working again?"

"Hey guys, just had to reboot in recovery mode on my iPhone 11 and then restore via iTunes after a similar Face ID freeze issue on the 16 update. Definitely a bummer for those with newer iPhone models, hopefully Apple patches this soon."

"Dude, I went through this nightmare last week after updating to iOS 16. Ended up restoring my iPhone to a previous backup from before the update and Face ID magically worked again. Wasn't a pleasant experience, but glad I could get my iPhone back up and running."
