Title: Let's Talk Code: Learning New Languages as a Coders - Boosting Your Cryptodev Career

What's up everyone, I'm starting this thread to talk about how learning new programming languages can boost your career in cryptodev. As a coder, I've seen how versatile skills can make you more attractive to potential employers, and in the crypto space, staying ahead of the curve is key. So, what languages have you guys learned recently and how have they helped your crypto dev game?

"Dude, I'd say learning languages like Rust or Go can be super helpful for cryptodev, but honestly, proficiency in a few key languages like C++ and Python is still essential for any dev job. Plus, knowing the basics of Assembly and a programming language like Haskell can be a nice bonus."

"Yea, languages are a crucial skill for a cryptodev career. Learning EVM and Web3.js for Ethereum dev is a no-brainer, but if you're looking to expand your skillset, Solidity and Rust are also worth checking out. I personally think learning Rust will give you a leg up in the future."

I'm all for learning new languages as a coder, but for cryptodev specifically, I'd say prioritize languages with high demand like Rust or Go. They're widely used in the industry and will make you a more competitive candidate when applying for dev roles. Don't forget about Solidity too, it's essential for Ethereum dev.

"Totally agree with this thread, fam! Knowing a bit of Solidity, Rust, and Go has opened so many doors for me in the cryptodev space. Anyone recommend any good online resources for learning TypeScript?"

"Yea, I totally agree with @JohnDoe on this one. Knowing more languages, especially low-level languages like Rust, C++, and Solidity, can definitely give you an edge in crypto dev. I'm personally working on learning Haskell, it's been a wild ride but I feel like it's worth it"

I'm with you, OP. Knowing a variety of programming languages is a must for any dev, especially in crypto. Learning Rust and Haskell has really improved my understanding of concurrency and fault tolerance, which is a game-changer in this space.

"Yea, I completely agree with this. Knowing Solidity and Rust has opened up a lot of opportunities for me in the cryptodev space, and it's crazy how much of a difference it's made. Anyone recommend some good resources for learning Rust?"
