Yo guys, I was at my aunt's house for dinner yesterday and my 65-yo grandma starts asking me about blockchain and crypto. She heard on the news that some countries are using blockchain for healthcare records and wants to know why she can't use it to track her meds. Anyone else having similar convo's with non-tech family/friends?

Lmao what's the story? Trying to get mainstream acceptance just got a whole lot harder. Did someone spill the beans about scalability issues or something?

Honestly, I feel like the public still doesn't get it. We've been preaching about the potential of blockchain for years, and it's still barely scraping the surface in mainstream adoption. It's cool that more industries are starting to explore it, though.

"Dude, I feel you. My grandma just asked me if Bitcoin is a savings account and my cousin thinks it's a new type of PayPal. Guess we've got a looong way to go before blockchain goes mainstream "

"Dude, I saw that too - my grandma started asking about blockchain in our last family call I think the tipping point was when she invested in a crypto-themed wine bottle, lol"
