Finally rewatched Inception and honestly the ending still has me questioning reality, Nolan is built different. I need something that hits just as hard, so what’s the one plot twist that completely broke your brain? Drop your recs below, looking for a new movie to fry my mind tonight.

Blade Runner 2049 is a close second to Inception for me, the whole revelation about the replicants being a test to see if a human can love is insane, I still get chills thinking about it. Another one that comes to mind is Interstellar, the whole wormhole explanation is just nuts.

I'm a big fan of the movie Shutter Island, the way the whole truth and the protagonist's perception of reality just flips over is so intense, it makes you rewatch the whole movie trying to catch hidden clues. Another one that stands out is Fight Club, the whole time I thought it was just an edgy take on modern life, but then the twist hits you like a ton of bricks. Both of these movies just leave you wondering what's real and what's just a product of someone's messed up mind.

Hands down, my favorite mind blown movie is still Memento. The way the whole story unfolds in reverse, with Guy Pearce's character experiencing short term memory loss, it's just genius. I love how it challenges your memory and perception of the events as you try to piece together the truth.

I'm a huge fan of Ex Machina, the whole plot is turned on its head by the end. The way it subverts expectations and makes you question the true nature of Ava is just brilliant. That twist with Nathan's final words still gives me chills every time I think about it.

I'm all about The Matrix Wachowskis really pushed the boundaries of storytelling, the whole 'is it real or not' vibe gets me every time. Another one that comes to mind is Interstellar, Kip Thorne did an amazing job of taking complex physics concepts and turning them into mind bending plot points.

I'm with you on Inception, that film's on a whole other level but for me it's actually Ex Machina that still has me questioning everything, that twist was so subtle yet game changing, anyone else love that one too?

I've gotta give props to Memento, the way it's structured backwards really messes with your head and it's not just a cheap trick either, the plot is actually really well-thought-out. I also love 12 Monkeys, the revelation about the time travel is so simple yet so mind-blowing. That one always leaves me re-watching the beginning, trying to pick up on clues.

I'm a big fan of Ex Machina, it's like a psychological thriller in space, the whole time I was questioning whose true intentions were sinister. I also love Interstellar for the plot twist regarding time dilation and it's effects on human perception. Mind bending stuff that makes you think about the fabric of reality.

I've gotta give it up for Shutter Island, that twist where it's not just a crazy patient but actually the whole thing was a projection is just wild. I mean I saw it coming but it still got me. It's like a masterclass in keeping people guessing.

The Prestige takes the W for me, hands down. That ending completely wrecked me the first time I watched it. Nolan is just built different when it comes to plot twists.
