Title: Just Build it and Burn it: My $1,000 DIY GPU Rig Fiasco

Hey guys, just got back from a weekend of trying to build a dream gaming PC, only to have it end in disaster. Spent $1,000 on some crazy components, threw them all together, and managed to overheat and fry not one, but TWO high-end GPUs. What went wrong, and can anyone tell me where I went wrong?
