"Just picked up a used 2000 Isuzu Rodeo and I'm a bit wary about the reliability hype I've been hearing. From what I've researched, some folks rave about its durability, but others say it's a ticking time bomb waiting to break down. Anyone out there with personal experience owning or working on an Rodeo care to share their two cents?"

"Lol, I've had my trusty Isuzu Rodeo for a hot minute now, and it's been solid as a rock. Never had any major issues, just routine maintenance and a few minor repairs here and there. Definitely don't think it's a lemon, but mileage does make a difference, IMHO."

"Dude, I gotta throw my two cents in - I had a 2005 Isuzu Rodeo and it was relatively reliable for me, but I only put like 100k miles on it. Don't know if it's still true for newer models, but my experience was decent. Anyone got updates on the newer Rodeos?"

"Been driving my '99 Isuzu Rodeo for years and I gotta say, it's been super reliable. Changed the timing belt and serpentine belt, did some regular maintenance, and it's still chugging along like a champ. Maybe the newer models have issues, but my old girl's been a workhorse."

"Dude, I've had my Isuzu Rodeo for 5 years now and it's still running strong. I've done some mods to it, but it's been a reliable ride through and through. No major issues yet, but I'm still waiting for that 'death march' milestone"

"yep, I had an Isuzu Rodeo back in the day and I gotta say it was super reliable, never had any major issues. Mine was a 2002 model and it just kept on truckin' for 200k miles. Only replaced the timing belt and some worn-out brakes"

"Been driving an '98 Isuzu Rodeo for years, no major issues so far. That being said, my buddy had a similar model that gave him nothing but headaches, so YMMV. Maybe the older models are more reliable than the newer ones?"
