"Hey guys, been thinking of doing a mod on my trusty Toyota Hilux and I'm torn between two options - a new gen Isuzu diesel or an old gen 6.0L gas guzzler. I know people have done this mod before, but is it really worth the hassle and cost? Anyone have any first-hand experience with Isuzu swaps in a Hilux?"

"Lol, gotta say, I've seen some crazy engine swaps in my time, but Isuzu's are definitely some of the most popular for Toyotas. The RB is a beast, but I've heard the 3.0L 4JG2 can give it a run for its money in terms of power and reliability. Just make sure you research the process and the costs, it ain't cheap."

"Dude, I've seen some crazy mods on Hiluxes before but swapping an Isuzu engine? That's a whole new level of crazy. Can't wait to see if someone attempts to pull this off and shares the results."

"Dude, I've seen a few vids of that mod and it looks like a beast on the road. The Isuzu 4BD1T is a solid engine, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle and cost of swapping it in your Hilux. Has anyone here done this mod personally and can share their experience?"

"Dude, I've seen some crazy engine swaps in my time, but Isuzu in a Hilux? That's a whole other level of modding madness. I've got a mate who did it and said it's a game-changer for off-road capability, but I'm curious, what kind of numbers are we talking about performance-wise?"

"Dude, I've gotta say the Isuzu 4JX1-T is a beast, and pairing it with a Hilux build sounds like a match made in heaven. The modding work won't be cheap, but if you're into off-roading, the extra power and torque would be insane. Has anyone here done the swap and can share some pics?"

"Dude, I've seen guys do engine swaps in their Hiluxes before and it can be a total game-changer. The extra power and torque are worth it, but you gotta be prepared for the added complexity and cost. Still, if you're willing to put in the work, I say go for it!"

"I've seen some DIYs on this, and yeah, an Isuzu engine swap can be done, but it's not a cakewalk. You gotta check the compatibility of the engine mounts, wiring, and transmission setup. If you're not experienced with engine swaps, it's best to stick with a more straightforward project."

"Dude, I've seen some crazy mods in my day but an Isuzu engine swap in a Hilux? That's just genius. I'm curious, have you guys done any dyno tests to see if the performance is worth the hassle?"

"Dude, I had a friend who did a similar swap in his Hilux and it's been a solid choice for him. The Isuzu engines are reliable and pack a punch, but don't forget to research and consider the costs of adapting everything to fit. Was worth it for him, but ymmv"

"Dude, I did the swap in my Hilux and gotta say, it's a game-changer. The Isuzu 3.0L V6 puts out serious power and torque, but be prepared for some costly mods to make it all work smoothly. Definitely worth it for serious off-road enthusiasts, but may not be the best choice for casual users."
