Just got a new GPU and I'm back to crushing it in Hunt Showdown. One thing that's helped me is setting up a solid ambush routine with my lantern, it gives me a serious edge when trying to take out trappers. Anyone else have a favorite trick?

"Y'all, I gotta disagree on the first tip about always scouting with your shotgun. For me, having a dedicated scout rifle has saved my skin in so many close calls - the extra range and accuracy make all the difference. Has anyone else tried this setup?"
