Title: HTTP Gateway Security: Should We Worry About Open Relays?

"I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this - have any of you noticed any recent issues with open HTTP relays on your servers? I've been doing some digging and it seems like these open relays can be used for malicious activities like spamming or even DDoS attacks. Anyone have experience setting up relays or mitigating these risks?"

"Open relays can be a major security vulnerability, especially for decentralized apps. They can be used for amplification attacks like DNS amplification and reflection attacks. We should definitely be on the lookout for this in our smart contract gateways."

"Yup, open relays can be a major security risk, especially in HTTP gateways. You gotta make sure to patch those vulnerabilities ASAP, since they can be used for DDoS attacks and other malicious activities. Just set up some robust firewall rules and your good."

"Dude, open relays are a thing of the past, but I get what you're saying. If you're not running a mail server, it's unlikely you'll have a problem with them, but it's good to stay vigilant. Just keep those port 25 and 587 closed, should be good to go."
