Hey fellow devs, let's get the convo started. I've been debating between using HTML5 and Next.js for a new project, and I'm curious to know what others think. HTML5 seems like a solid choice for a vanilla web app, but Next.js offers some crazy powerful features like server-side rendering and static site generation – which one's the real MVP for modern web devs?

"Yooo, I'm low-key loving Next.js right now. The static site generation (SSG) feature is a game-changer for SEO and performance. HTML5 has its own perks, but Next.js is def the MVP for complex and scalable web apps."

"Dude, it's all about Next.js for me. The performance, SEO, and ease of use make it a no-brainer, especially when working on large-scale projects. HTML5 is still solid, but Next.js takes it to the next level"

"Hey guys, I've worked on both HTML5 and Next.js projects, and in my opinion, Next.js takes the cake for modern web dev. Its built-in server rendering, static site generation, and SEO optimization make it a total game-changer for productivity. Anybody else agree?"

"Dude, I gotta say Next.js is the way to go for modern web devs. With its server-side rendering and static site generation, it just gives you so much more flexibility and performance compared to plain HTML5. Plus, the community and ecosystem around Next.js is crazy strong."

"Dude, I gotta say Next.js is my go-to for modern web dev. The server-side rendering and automatic code splitting make it a total game-changer for performance. HTML5 is still solid, but Next.js gives me that extra edge."
