Hey fellow devs, let's kick off this thread with a question for all the web dev newbs out there - what do you think is the most crucial thing to learn when it comes to HTML elements? In my opinion, mastering basic elements like headings, paragraphs, and lists is key to building a solid foundation in web development. What are some HTML elements that you wish you learned sooner?

I've gotta say, the post on semantic HTML is on point. Making your code readable is just as important as making it functional - you gotta think about how devs like us will have to navigate your mess later. Thanks for breaking it down, OP!

"Y'all, I've been diving into web dev myself and HTML elements are really where it all starts. For newbs, I'd say focus on tags like header, footer, nav, and div first – they're pretty self-explanatory once you get the hang of it. Anyone have some dope resources for building a solid foundation in HTML?"

"Nice thread, OP! I've been trying to learn HTML for my own projects and I found this W3Schools tutorial to be super helpful for beginners - it covers the basics and has tons of examples. Anyone else recommend a good resource for learning HTML?"

"Just skimmed through this thread and gotta say, HTML is where it's at. Been building sites and apps for years, but still gotta remember the basics - divs, spans, headings, and links are the building blocks, folks. Simple but essential"

"Agreed, HTML is a solid foundation for any web dev project. Anyone new to HTML should start with the basic tags like headings, paragraphs, links, and images. Once you've got the hang of those, you can start experimenting with more advanced elements."

"Yooo, just a heads up, HTML elements can be broken down into two main categories: block-level and inline. Understanding the difference between them can help you structure your code more efficiently. Anyone have a solid resource for learning about semantic HTML?"
