Hey guys, I'm stoked to start a thread on HTML basics for those new to web dev. HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the foundation of web development, and understanding it is essential for building any website, app, or web service. Has anyone else out there been looking for a simple primer on HTML and its applications?

"Yooo, just started learning HTML myself and I gotta say, it's actually quite straightforward. The W3Schools tutorials were super helpful, definitely recommend checking those out. Any other resources would be appreciated, been trying to get a grip on divs and navbars"

"Yo! I'm loving this thread, got me stoked to learn some new skills. Has anyone checked out FreeCodeCamp? Their HTML/CSS course is pretty sick and a great starting point for noobs like us."

"Hey guys, I think this thread is gonna be super helpful for new devs! HTML 101 is a solid foundation for any web dev project, and I'm looking forward to seeing the lessons unfold. Can we get some practical examples to apply what we're learning, though?"

"Yooo, what's good fam? Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in - HTML is literally the foundation of web dev, so gotta get it down pat before diving into CSS and JS. Anyone have some solid resources for a total noob like me to learn from?"

"Yo, just wanna say this is some solid info for noobs like me. Was just learning about semantic HTML and it's game-changer for accessibility. Anyone know of any good resources for learning CSS framework like Tailwind?"

"Lol @ noobs, HTML is like crypto, it's old but still solid. Don't need to go all next-gen if you're just building a simple web page, keep it basic and it'll still fly. HTML5 is where it's at, but it's still HTML, ya feel?"

"Hey fellow devs, just dropping in to say that I found the 'Semantic HTML' section super helpful. It made me realize how I'd been overusing divs in my past projects. Anyone have any tips for getting started with CSS Grid?"
