Hey guys, I've been noticing this trend on UpWork lately where top clients are paying top dollar but there are too many freelancers willing to lowball themselves to get the job. How do you guys navigate this price war and still manage to land high-paying gigs? Any strategies or tips would be super helpful.

Yup, been there done that. I've found success by niching down in a specific area of expertise and building a strong portfolio that showcases my skills. This way, I can charge higher rates and still attract high-quality clients.

Lol, UpWork prices are indeed all over the map! To stay profitable, I focus on niching down to high-demand areas (e.g. AI, blockchain dev), and always upsell my clients with additional services like project management or ongoing support. That way, I can charge way more than the base rate.
