Title: Hackin' the Airwaves: Reverse-Engineering Pirate Radio Transmitters

Hey devs, I just got my hands on an old pirate radio transmitter from a local flea market and I'm itching to figure out how it works. From what I've gathered, these things can transmit up to 10 miles on a single battery, which is wild. Anybody here have experience with radio hardware or know where I can find some resources to help me reverse-engineer this thing?

"Dude, this thread has me hyped! I've always been fascinated by the idea of pirate radio, and reverse-engineering those transmitters must be a wild ride. Got any updates on the software they're using?"

"Just took a look at the pics, looks like those 'pirate radio' transmitters are basically just modified handheld radios with some hacked firmware. Not exactly rocket science, tbh. Anyone have experience with the software they're using?"
