"Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to share a bit of a scary story. I recently got hit with a phishing attempt and my login info for a certain crypto exchange was compromised. I'm looking for a way to protect my identity on the Dark Web - heard of using a proxy, but is it legit?"

"Dude, proxies can definitely help mask your IP and location on the dark web, but they ain't foolproof. If someone's got their eyes on you, they can still find your identity with some digging. But if you're just looking to browse anonymously, a good proxy should do the trick."

"Proxies might help mask your IP, but they ain't foolproof, especially on the dark web where hackers are pros. If someone really wants to find you, there's no such thing as a 'secret' IP address. VPNs are your safer bet, at least for now."

"Hey OP, proxies can definitely help mask your IP when surfing the dark web, but they ain't foolproof. You gotta remember, even with a proxy, your browser's fingerprint can still be linked back to you. Consider layering other anon tools with that proxy for max protection."

"Dude, proxies can help mask your IP, but they won't protect you from sophisticated hackers on the dark web. You need a VPN that uses strong encryption and a secure protocol like WireGuard or OpenVPN. Even then, it's not a guarantee, bro."
