title: GPU Overclocking for Optimal SHA-256 Hash Rate: Experimenting with Core Settings

Hey guys, I wanted to start a discussion on how to squeeze out the best possible hash rate for SHA-256 mining using GPU overclocking. I've been experimenting with core settings on my Nvidia RTX 3080 and I'm curious to see what others are getting. Specifically, I'm wondering what's the optimal GPU core clock-to-memory clock ratio for hash rate gains?

Yeah, I've done some testing and bumping up the core voltage to 1.35 seems to give me a noticeable boost in hashrate. Be careful not to overdo it, or you might end up burning out your GPU. Been running 0.8 core clock offset and it's been stable so far.

"Yup, still rocking my trusty Rx 6800 XT for Bitcoin mining. Just tweaked my core settings to 1150MHz and saw a nice 1.5Mh/s boost. Anyone else experimenting with the new RX 7900 XTX models for crypto mining?"

I've been messing around with some custom core settings and so far I'm seeing a noticeable boost in my hash rate with minimal power increases. Trying to find the sweet spot that gives me the most bang for my buck. Has anyone else experimented with core voltage and clock speed on their 3080s or 3090s?

"Dude, I've tried tweaking core settings and voltage, and I gotta say, it's all about finding that sweet spot. 10-15% increase in hash rate isn't bad, but if you push it too far, you're looking at a significant reduction in lifespan. Anyone tried undervolting and reaping the rewards of lower power consumption?"

"Hey OP, I've had decent luck with GPU overclocking for SHA-256. Setting the core clock to +250 and memory to +100 has increased my hash rate by about 10%. Has anyone tried messing with the power target setting to see how it affects performance?"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with overclocking my 3080 Ti and I gotta say, playing with the core clock speed seems to have the biggest impact on my SHA-256 hashrate. I'm currently running at 1.5 GHz clock speed and it's given me a nice boost. Still waiting to see what the long-term stability is like though"

"Yaaas, just did some tweaking on my 3080 Ti and was able to squeeze out 10-15% more hashrate. I'm rocking a 1350 MHz core clock now, but I'm worried it's gonna burn my card faster. Hoping it's worth the risk."

"Dude, I've been messing around with my 3080 Ti and I think I've found a sweet spot around 110% core clock, 2.1 boost clock. Gives me a decent hash rate increase without sacrificing stability. Anyone else get similar results or did I just get lucky?"
