Hey guys, just had a nightmare - my Binance account got hacked and now I'm out $5k worth of ETH. I know some of you might've been in a similar situation, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to escalate the issue with Binance and get some reimbursement.

Hey, sorry to hear that you got hacked. Have you already reached out to your exchange or wallet's support team? If not, make sure to do that ASAP and keep a record of all correspondence.

Dude, the first thing I'd do is report the hack to the exchange or whatever platform was involved right away. They usually have protocols in place for these situations, so the sooner you act, the better your chances are of getting some compensation. Has anyone here dealt with this situation before?

Hey OP, sorry to hear that you got hacked. If you haven't already, file a report with your exchange's customer support and the cops - it's the first step in getting some action taken. Also, reach out to your bank or card issuer to report the issue and see if they can freeze the accounts.

Been there, done that, got a bunch of lessons learned. First things first, don't panic and report the hack to the exchange ASAP. If you've got 2FA and a strong password, try to contact your bank or card issuer next.

Yo, sorry to hear that dude. Have you tried reaching out to the exchange's support directly and escalating the issue? Also, if you filed a complaint with the FTC, you can try sharing the ticket number with the exchange to see if it helps.

Lol, sorry to hear that you guys got hit. First, make sure you report to your exchange and try to freeze any suspicious transactions. Also, if you have 2FA enabled, the exchange might be more likely to cover your losses.

I feel your pain OP, I had a similar issue on Kraken last year and the support team was super helpful - they offered some free trades as a goodwill gesture, but I also documented everything and sent it to their support email for a potential reimbursement claim. Has anyone else dealt with Kraken's support team and gotten a favorable outcome?
