Hey fellow crypto enthusiasts, I know some of us have dived into the world of pentesting and security, but I'm here to start a thread for those just starting out with Kali Linux. For those new to Linux or Kali, I thought it'd be a good idea to share some tips and tricks for getting set up and comfortable with the environment. What are some must-have tools and plugins you'd recommend for a beginner?

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents, I've been using Kali Linux for a few years now and one trick I find super helpful for beginners is to use the "reaver" tool to crack WPA2 passwords, just be careful what you use it for. Also, don't forget to check out the official Kali Linux forum for more awesome tutorials and guides.

"Just jumped into the Kali Linux world and gotta say it's been a wild ride. Their beginner's guide on the official site is super helpful, but I found their 'Kali Linux Revealed' course on Udemy to be more comprehensive for a beginner like me. Anyone else have any good resource recommendations?"

"Just watched the tutorial and have to say it's super helpful for noobs like me. One thing that stands out is the ' persistence ' mode, it makes it way easier to set up a working environment. Would love to see more content like this on Linux for beginners"
