Hey guys, I'm getting back into the freelance game on Upwork and I'm looking to optimize my profile and workflow for crypto dev gigs. Has anyone else had success (or failure) with pitching their services to clients looking for blockchain devs on the platform? What are some must-haves in your Upwork profile to stand out in the crypto niche?

"Literally been there, done that on Upwork. Just a heads up, crypto devs should highlight their expertise in relevant skills to increase chances of getting hired by clients who know their stuff. Also, set a competitive rate or be prepared to negotiate, don't get lowballed"

"Yooo, great thread! I'm with @CryptoCoder on using your crypto dev skills to upsell on Upwork - it's all about showcasing your expertise and building a strong portfolio. Anyone have any tips on getting featured on Upwork's 'Crypto & Blockchain' category?"

"I gotta say, I've been using Upwork for my dev work and it's been a mixed bag. Some clients are totally in tune with crypto and pay top dollar, but others have no idea what's going on and lowball you. Anyone have tips for finding those cream-of-the-crop clients?"

"Been using Upwork for a while now and gotta say, you gotta be super selective with your clients and projects. Don't be afraid to ghost or turn down low-paying gigs, trust me, you won't miss out on much. Has anyone had any success with Upwork's new 'Crypto' category?"

"Hey guys, I've had some success on Upwork with crypto dev gigs. Make sure your profile is on point, showcase your portfolio and experience, and be prepared for a lot of competition. Don't be discouraged if you don't land a gig right away, keep applying and stay persistent!"

"Totally agree with using Upwork as a way to showcase our crypto dev skills. I'd also recommend making a separate gig specifically for crypto-related projects to increase visibility. Anyone else have any experience with Upwork's proposal review process?"

"Lol, been there done that. I swear by Upwork's 'Interviews' feature - it's a lifesaver when trying to filter out low-quality clients. Helps me avoid those pesky 'build me a crypto exchange for $500' gigs "

"Been using Upwork for a while now, and I gotta say it's been a wild ride. One thing that's helped me stand out as a crypto dev is having a solid portfolio and clear communication with clients. Anyone got any tips on how to negotiate rates and secure long-term contracts?"

"Yooo, just wanted to add that I've had good luck using Upwork's 'Hourly' vs 'Fixed Price' model for crypto dev projects. It gives clients a clearer understanding of what they'll get for their money, and it's also a good way to avoid scope creep. Has anyone else had similar experiences?"
