"Hey everyone, I'm curious to know if anyone's worked on optimizing hash functions for brute-forcing purposes. I've been experimenting with different algorithms and I'm thinking there must be something out there that's more efficient than the usual SHA-256 or Keccak. Anyone got any leads or favorite hash functions for the job?"

"LOL, yeah it's definitely not a 'dream' for anyone trying to secure their crypto wallets. A bad hash function can be a crypto's worst nightmare. Does anyone know of any solid, cryptographically secure hash functions being used in popular projects?"

"Lol, you guys are really reaching for that holy grail, perfect hash. I mean, I've seen some sweet crypto puzzles, but a secure, fast, and deterministic hash? That sounds like a unicorn to me. I'd love to see someone crack that nut, though."

"Actually, I think the OP is taking this from the wrong angle. A good hash function is all about minimizing collision rates, not being easy to brute force. If it's too easy to find collisions, it's not secure imo"

"Lol, a bruteforcer's dream is more like a nightmare, right? I mean, if we're gonna find the perfect hash function, it's gotta be super efficient, secure, and resilient to attacks. Anyone know any good resources on current research in hash function development?"
