Title: Fiat: The Ultimate Middle Man (Are They Worth It?)

"Hey guys, I was thinking about the role of fiat currency in our society and how it's basically just a middle man between our money and its true value. Like, we mine Bitcoin or earn our fiat, then we have to convert it to the same fiat to use it in real life. Is it really worth keeping this 'middle man' in the loop, or can we ditch fiat for good?"

"I think fiat is the ultimate middle man, plain and simple. It's like the bank holding your cash in a vault, taking a cut every time you use it, but what choice do we have? It's like a necessary evil, but I still think crypto can change that game"

"Preach, OP. Fiat currencies are essentially a middle man between your labor and actual value... and their role is quickly getting outdated with the rise of digital alternatives"

"Yup, I couldn't agree more with this thread. Fiat currencies are basically a middleman between our money and the actual value it holds - think of it like a third-party fee on every transaction. They're a relic of the past, imo (in my opinion) we should strive for a more decentralized financial system."

"For me, fiat's gotta go. Central banks and governments are just leeching off the middlemen, creating unnecessary complexity and volatility. We need a more direct, peer-to-peer system to truly cut out the middlemen."

"IMHO, fiat is literally the middle man between the government and our money. They just create new money out of thin air and expect us to trust it."
