"Hey everyone, I wanted to start this thread because I've been thinking about the rise of CBDCs (central bank digital currencies) and whether they're the next step in the demise of traditional fiat. I mean, we've seen countries like China and Sweden experimenting with their own digital currencies, so it's only a matter of time before they become mainstream, right? Is this the end of traditional cash as we know it?"

"Been saying this for years, fiat is a dying breed. Central banks are already experimenting with their own CBDCs, it's only a matter of time before digital dollars are the norm. Anyone else think airdrops for CBDCs will become the new 'giveaway' trend?"

"Lowkey agree, fiat's been struggling for years. But we gotta be realistic, CBDCs aren't going away, and they're a different beast altogether. Either way, it's all about decentralization and control, imo."
