What's good, forum fam? I've been experimenting with low-light videography on a budget, and I've found that the key is to know when to push your gear (and when to hold back). From experimenting with ISO settings to tweaking color grading, I've learned that there's a sweet spot where you can get cinematic footage without breaking the bank.

"Just got a new Sony A6400 for video capture and the auto ISO feature has been a game changer for low-light shots. I also use a handheld gimbal to get smoother footage and can recommend the DJI Ronin-S for under $600. Has anyone else tried using a polarizing filter for added contrast?"

"Dude, been using a DIY diffuser on my phone's camera and it's been a game changer! I just use a piece of white plastic or a translucent umbrella, and it cuts down on harsh shadows in low-light situations. Anyone else tried something like this?"

"Been using a smartphone app called Filmic Pro and its HDR mode has been a game-changer for low-light vids. It's definitely worth checking out if you're on a budget. The results I've gotten with it are actually pretty insane!"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with a DIY rig that combines a cheap Sony A6400 with a modified smartphone camera lens and some 3M VHB for stabilization. The A6400's sensor is a beast, and the lens addition makes a huge difference in low-light shots. Anybody else tried this combo?"
