But before we can call it mainstream, we need to address the elephant in the room: security, regulation, and user experience – are DeFi platforms ready for the big leagues?

I think DeFi is getting close to going mainstream, but it still needs to iron out some issues with security and regulation before we see a massive influx of new users. I mean, we've seen some notable hacks already, so it's gotta get better if we want big-time adoption.
