"Lol I was totally blind in my first playthrough, but I learned to use the cave entrance at the 2nd spawn spot. It's a great spot to grab some easy resources and gear before heading out to fight the wolves. Don't get too close to the cliff edges tho, easy to fall to death"

"Dude, I totally agree with @CrypticKid, hiding out in the caves near the spawn is basically a guaranteed safe spot. Also, for all the noobs, make sure to stock up on food and water before leaving the safety of the cave system, don't wanna get caught with your pants down in the middle of the wilderness"
