"Yooo, just wanna say, for newbies, understanding block confirmation is key. Awaiting 6 confirmations is usually safe, but it depends on the network congestion. Anyone got some solid resources for learning about crypto fundamentals?"

"Lol, totally agree, @CryptoNewb! Blocks are the real bottleneck in crypto, not to mention the fees. Great thread, OP - looking forward to learning more about these fundamentals to avoid getting 'left in the blocks' "

"Preach! I still see people throwing around terms like 'gas fees' and 'blockchains' without understanding what they actually mean. If you're new to crypto, this thread's a def must-read"

"Just wanted to add that understanding the difference between a decentralized exchange (DEX) and a central exchange (CEX) is key for newbies. A DEX is like the Wild West, no central authority controlling your funds, while a CEX is more like traditional trading. Don't get caught in the middle"

"Hey OP, thanks for the basics rundown. I think it's super important for newbies to understand the difference between hard and soft forks, can't stress that enough. Anyone have any good resources for learning more about the technical side?"

Yooo, great thread OP! Been seeing a lot of newbies getting frustrated with the basics of crypto, so it's awesome you're breaking it down for 'em. What specific fundamentals do you recommend we cover first?

Nice thread, just wanted to add that for newbies, I think it's essential to understand the concept of gas fees and how they impact transactions. It can get pretty confusing, especially when dealing with high-traffic networks like BNB. Anyone else have some tips for keeping gas fees low?

"Yaaas, couldn't agree more on the importance of understanding gas fees. It's crazy how many newbies get frustrated with failed transactions, not realizing they're getting gassed. Anyone got a solid resource for explaining gas fees in simple terms?"

"Lol, I gotta agree with @CryptoNewb that understanding the basics of blockchain and how transactions work is crucial for beginners. It's wild how many people still think crypto is just like regular stocks, but it's way more complex. Anyone else think 'blockchain 101' should be a required module for newbies?"

"Hey guys, just chimed in to say - I think blockchains are way more intuitive once you grasp how mining and validation work. Don't know how many people have been stuck thinking mining is just about solving a random math problem".
