Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with converting a bike to electric. I spent around $800 on a kit and had to do some tinkering myself, but the result was totally worth it - I can now cruise around town with ease and save on gas money. Thoughts, anyone?

Yup, I've done it myself and it was way worth it. Saved like $1,000 compared to buying a pre-built e-bike and I got to customize it to my liking. Only took me a weekend to swap out the motor and batteries.

Definitely worth it for me. I converted my old gas-powered scooter to an e-bike for under $500 and now I'm saving on gas and loving the eco-friendliness. Plus, the conversion process was way simpler than I thought it'd be.

Dude, I did an e-bike conversion last year and it was totally worth it for me. I picked up a second-hand bike for ~$100 and a hub motor kit for ~$300, so total cost was ~$400. Now I can ride 15 miles without breaking a sweat.

I went all in on an ebike conversion kit a yr ago and I gotta say, it's been a solid investment for me. The initial cost was def higher than buying a prebuilt ebike but the customizability & modding potential are huge pluses. Now I'm thinking of swapping out the motor for a more powerful one.

I've done a conversion myself and it was totally worth it for me, the cost was around 300 bucks for a kit and some extra parts to make it safe and roadworthy, definitely recommend if you're handy with tools.
