"Hey guys, I've been itching to build a new mining rig and I'm split between using AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. I've heard some say AMD is the way to go for the price-to-performance ratio, but others swear by NVIDIA's consistency and ease of use. Which team are you on and why?"

"Yea I've been running an AMD-based rig for months now and love the performance. The Ryzen 5900X is a beast and I'm getting ~60MH/s hashrate on my 8x RX 6800 XT setup. Anyone know if AMD is planning to release new mining-friendly CPUs soon?"

"Dude, I just wanna chime in - I built a rig with 8x AMD RX 6800XTs and it's been crushing it, 35-40MH/s on the hash rate. The cost per MH/s is insane low, but the power consumption is where I'm getting a bit worried. Anyone else have their rig over 1kW?"

"Dude, been in the mining game for a hot minute and I gotta say, the real winner here is the ASICs. Those NV GPUs were a decent start, but let's be real, they're outdated now. Now we're just waiting for the next big mining rig drop"

"Yo, I've been following this thread, and I gotta say, I've seen some insane results from those custom rigs using NVIDIA's Ampere cards. I've got a setup with 2x RTX 3090s, and so far, I'm seeing a 30% increase in hashrate compared to the same setup with AMD's RDNA 2 cards. Still waiting for the power consumption numbers to settle, though."

"Yo, I've built a rig with the AMD Ryzen 9 and Radeon RX 6800 XT, and it's been crushing it for me. I'm getting around 50 MH/s with a power draw of about 220W. Anyone else getting similar results?"
