Everyone’s shouting "buy the dip," but it feels more like catching a falling knife with these charts. How do you tell the difference between a genuine discount and just throwing money into a sinking ship? Trying to decide if I should DCA or just stay in stables.

I think it's all about timing and understanding market forces, the dip can be a great opportunity if you've done your due diligence and the fundamentals are solid, it's when people get emotional and lose sight of that which turns it into a sinking ship.

Honest question, I've been a value investor for a while now and it seems like the line gets blurred when you start buying assets that have dropped 80-90%, but still have a ways to go before they recover. I mean, some cryptos like Luna in the past have shown incredible comebacks, but then you have other cases like TerraUSD. I guess the key for me is identifying assets with a solid fundamentals and market potential, despite their price.

I'm not saying it's easy, but a solid long-term strategy is key here. You gotta separate speculation from fundamentals, and know when to cut your losses. In my experience, it's not about timing the bottom, but rather positioning yourself for the next market upswing.
