Title: Dive into Crypto: A Beginner's Guide to Programming and Coding in the Blockchain Space

Hey guys, I'm thinking of creating a comprehensive guide for total crypto newbies who want to learn about programming and coding in the blockchain space. My goal is to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand chunks, starting from the basics of programming, through popular languages used in crypto, and finally, how to build your own dApps. Any suggestions or ideas for this thread are super welcome!

"Hey guys, just wanna throw in my 2 cents - if anyone's new to programming and crypto, I gotta recommend checking out some free online resources like Coursera or edX, which offer awesome blockchain courses. Has anyone else used these or got other tips for beginners?"

"Hey OP, I really appreciate you tackling this topic, coding can be super intimidating for newbies. If anyone's looking to dip their toes in, I'd recommend checking out soliditylang.org for a solid (no pun) intro to smart contract coding."

"Just started learning Python and I gotta say it's a great language to start with. For blockchain development, you can't go wrong with Solidity (for Ethereum) and Rust (for Polkadot). Anyone got some resources for mastering Solidity?"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in. If you're serious about diving into crypto development, start with Python and learn about libraries like web3.py or Ethers.js. Don't get overwhelmed, just build something small like a simple NFT marketplace to get a feel for it"

"Great thread, OP! For beginners, I'd recommend starting with Python and the basics of Solidity for smart contract dev on Ethereum. Has anyone else checked out Chainlink's developer resources for building more complex applications?"
