"Hey all, I think it's time to talk about how legacy messengers like WhatsApp and Telegram are getting left behind in the web3 revolution. From end-to-end encryption to decentralized ownership, the old guard just can't keep up with the innovation happening in the crypto space. I've switched to using Matrix and Solana's Helix, and I'm loving the new level of control and security it offers."

I think it's time to bury the likes of WhatsApp and Signal, they're still clinging to outdated encryption methods while Web3 apps like Signal X and Wire are pushing the boundaries. The writing's on the wall - legacy messengers are just not scalable or adaptable for the new decentralized world we're building. Can't wait to see more of them get left behind

"Preach, OP. The older messenger apps like Signal and WhatsApp are getting more and more restrictive, it's like they're trying to stifle innovation. Web3-powered alternatives like Matrix and Telegram's own new version are where it's at."
