I've seen this myth perpetuated around here for a while now - you can whip up a crypto trading bot in a single weekend. As someone who's actually tried it, I gotta say it's way more complicated than folks make it out to be. Who's with me, or do you guys think it's actually doable?

"Dude, coding a crypto trading bot isn't a simple task, and a weekend isn't enough time to get it done right. It takes weeks or even months of research, dev, and testing to create something that can consistently make profitable trades. Don't believe the hype, it's not a 'build it in a weekend' kind of project."

"Dude, I think it's possible to code a basic bot over a weekend if you know what you're doing. I made a simple algo bot in 48 hours, but it was more like a proof of concept than a real trading strategy. You need to know some programming fundamentals and have a clear idea of what you want to achieve."

"Honestly, I think it's possible to get a basic bot up and running in a weekend, but don't expect to create a fully-automated, high-performance bot that beats the market. You gotta have some experience with programming languages like Python or C++ and a solid understanding of market analytics. Anyone try doing this and share their experience?"

Honestly, I don't think that's possible for a beginner, at least not without a ton of prep work beforehand. You gotta know your libraries, your APIs, and have a solid grasp of programming fundamentals before diving in. Unless you're a seasoned dev, I'd say it's more like 1-2 weeks of solid coding just to get a basic bot up and running.

"Yooo, I'm calling BS on that whole 'single weekend' thing. Don't get me wrong, it's possible to whip up a basic bot, but a decent one that actually performs well? That takes time, man. Give yourself at least 2-3 weekends."

"Dude, I've done it before and it wasn't pretty. I mean, sure, you can slap together a basic bot in 48 hours with some pre-made templates, but trying to optimize it for a live market and make it profitable? That's a whole different story."
