"Hey all, just had a major db disaster with my project and I'm still trying to pick up the pieces. Got a query that was somehow recursing and bringing my entire DB to its knees, causing me to lose hours of data. Anyone else ever have to deal with a catastrophic crash like this?"

"Dude, I've been there. Make sure your queries are optimized and not hitting any deadlocks. I also use a transaction log to recover from crashes, it's saved me more times than I can count."

"Yikes, database crashes are the worst. Have you guys tried optimizing your queries and indexing tables to speed things up? That's usually the first step for me when I'm dealing with slow query times."

"Lol, I had a similar issue last year on one of our internal projects. Turns out it was a simple query indexing issue, just re-indexed the table and it was up and running in no time. Has anyone else tried re-compiling their database or checking disk space?"
