I'd love to see a modern-day Copen with some crazy hybrid powertrain - like a 1.3L turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. It would be epic to see Daihatsu bring back that signature scissor doors design with some new-age materials to save on weight. Also, maybe a more advanced suspension system to handle the power.
