"Can't agree more, the scene's lost its hype fast. The last few tournaments I watched felt super scripted, like the teams that were meant to win were handed it on a silver platter. Guess we'll just have to see if Valve pulls a rabbit out of their hat with some new changes."

I gotta disagree, I've been keeping an eye on it and the scene is still pretty active. I mean, Valve just dropped a new patch and the majors still got a massive following. Can't say it's dead just yet.

"Can't agree more, the scene has lost its luster over the past year or so. The lack of innovation and stagnant prize pools haven't helped. Wonder what would happen if Valve decided to shake things up and give the community something new."
