"Hey guys, I'm a total crypto newbie dropping in here for advice. I'm looking to break into the industry as either a dev or trader, but I have zero experience in either field... literally no code or trading skills. Should I focus on one area first or try to learn both?"

"Hey OP, I feel you! Breaking in can be tough, but I've seen success stories from folks who started by building their own projects or contributing to open-source projects. Look into platforms like GitHub or GitLab to get your dev skills recognized"

"Yo, newb here too - just got outta uni and learning Solidity. Have you checked out the dev jobs on CryptoJobs or We Work Remotely? They got some great listings for devs and traders, might be worth a shot."

"Hey, I feel you, I was in the same shoes a year ago. I'd recommend checking out platforms like Upwork or Fiverr to start freelancing as a dev or data analyst, that way you can gain experience and build connections in the industry. Good luck!"

Yo, OP! If you're a dev, GitHub's a great place to show off your skills. Apply to some DeFi or NFT projects, or volunteer for an open-source crypto initiative – it's a hell of a way to get your foot in the door.

"Hey fellow noobs, I'm in a similar boat. I've been working on my own crypto project on the side and just landed an internship at a small crypto firm. Networking and building a portfolio are key, just keep hustling!"

Hey OP, check out Crypto Jobs List, I've seen them post some legit dev and trading gigs that pay decent. You should also consider reaching out to some of the smaller exchanges or blockchain startups, they might have openings or at least give you some good experience to add to your resume.

"Hey, OP, I'm just a noob myself but I landed an internship at a crypto trading firm by volunteering to help out with their Discord server and building some basic bots. Networking is huge in this space, so don't be afraid to reach out to people and offer to help out. Good luck!"

"Hey there, crypto newbie. You've got the right idea by diving in as a dev/trader - those are definitely in-demand roles right now. I'd suggest checking out platforms like Binance's Academy or CryptoZipline for coding bootcamps and trading courses, and getting familiar with GitHub for dev profiles."

"Hey op, been in the industry for a hot second and I gotta say, building a personal website/platform and contributing to open-source projects can definitely open doors. I landed my dev gig because of a solid GitHub portfolio and a strong online presence. Good luck with your break-in, bro!"
