"Hey guys, I'm new to crypto investing and I've been looking for the best time to start with a small budget. I've seen some crazy fluctuations in prices and I'm hesitant to jump in too quickly. Anyone have any advice on when to dip their toes in with a shoestring budget?"

"Lol, honestly, I think it's all about educating yourself first. I started with small investments in low-risk cryptos, like stablecoins or DeFi protocols, and slowly dipped my toes into more volatile ones. Don't over-leverage yourself, and always remember to HODL!"

"Hey OP, I'm with you on not risking too much early on, especially when you're just starting out. I'd say start with a few hundred bucks and do some thorough research on stablecoins and low-risk altcoins before diving in. Don't be afraid to learn from your mistakes, though"

"Yea, I completely agree with OP. Starting small with a micro-investment in a low-risk altcoin is a great way to dip your toes in crypto without breaking the bank. I started with $10 on a small cap coin and it's now worth $50 - it's all about timing and diversification."
